7 Ways To Optimize Your Morning Coffee Routine

Do you start your morning routine with a hot cup of joe? If you do, chances are you're doing it wrong...

Research shows that there's an optimal time to start drinking your morning coffee, and guess what? It's after you get to the office, sometime around 10 a.m.

The reason is that early in the morning, our bodies produce high levels of cortisol, which is a stress hormone that helps us become more alert. When caffeine is consumed, it makes signals to the body to produce less cortisol - this means your body will start to rely on coffee, rather than its natural functions to wake up.

Do you ever get a headache when you haven't had a morning coffee? That's probably why.
